That's how ends sleeping when the game ends and player doesn't control character to save her.

The character on screen is Zoey right?
And my idea was: In game she could be killed enormous number of times and change into a zombie, yet she didn't because Player was controlling her (or her squadmates).
And here she is (here - this image) as a zombie. So it's telling her story a little later than the game ended. There was no Player controled character which could save her from turning into one of the zombies.
