Description
Someone awesome wanted me to post progress photos of my Halloween mask. So I wanted to oblige. Plus, I took it as an excuse to put up updated pictures of the final outcome, where I added a dorky little beard. Yay! If anyone has any questions, I'd be happy to answer... but for the most part this was a really straightforward process... as is shown here. Nur.Related content

Very cool. Did you have to bake the Sculpy or did did you do something else to it to make it stiffen? And the Celluclay sounds pretty expensive, do you have any ideas on alternitives?Y see, I'm going to be wearing something similar to this at A-Cen this year and I wanted to start it now-ish to have it done in time and to be comfortable wearing it.

I didn't bake the sculpey... it wasn't really necessary as it just got covered up, and it stayed pretty stable. As for an alternative to celluclay... you can always try the white plaster strips that you just have to dip in warm water and spread on the mask. I'm really not so sure that the celluclay is expensive... but I don't remember and I'm not too sure what constitutes as expensive. Anyways, good luck in your mask-making endeavors!

Thanks you very much. Really? I could just leave the SuperSculpy to be covered up by the plaster strips? I can't wait to get started!

I love the 'dorky little beard'.
This is oozing with creativity, I'm surprised you didn't suffocate in your own genius.
However, I may not know what this celluclay is and what it's malleability is, but it seems to me that it could have been a tad more smooth?
Not to say that it doesn't look fantastic, and the ears are perfection.
