yes thats it, this is getting much better now, next try adding some stronger highlights on the metal effects, to really make it pop

that would disrupt the balance in lighting across the whole design. The design needs to be balanced between how it can be rendered by different graphic settings and eye sight. If the metal stands out more then the rest of the design it would take the focus off the content. Or when the eye scrolls past it its focus can be switched and too much of that can cause eye strain. Focus should always be more on the content and the rest should just be within range of the eye sight to cause it to be visually appealing without it being too much into focus... otherwise the website looses its purpose, which is the content.
