Made this after I watched the new Young Justice show. In the Pilot Robin and some others destroy cloning attemt on themselves. I figurd what if the succeded in cloning Robin? Would'nt it be cool if the would introduce Red X in Young Justice. To my knowledge Red X was a character made for the Titans cartoon and not used in the comics so it would be nice to explore this character again.Related content

Why hasn't Red X been introduced into the main DC universe?! There's so much story potential that's just being wasted!
Although, to play my own devil's advocate, Red X is more or less a skewed play on the Red Hood concept with Winick brought Robin #2 back from the dead.
But still, he's too cool not to do anything with!

I kind of agree with ya. (Sorry for the comment being 2 years late.) It would be kind of interesting to see Red X again especially in Young Justice. Then again, do the writers have enough material back story for this dude to work? Think about, most fans think this is Jason Todd (my opinion on this idea is wary and a friend of mine stated that in Teen Titans animated context Jason Todd would be alive during this time), somewhat of a plothole of how in the world did this person get the suit that easily, dude practically is Robin (could be another disguiser system on the suit), and according to Wiki Red-X made cameos till the end without saying word.

I like the idea, considering Red X was Robin..at first, anyway. Then some dude got the gadgets and stuff, blah blah, new Red X. Probably Jason Todd. XD

It isn't Jason todd, because in Teen Titans Robin was Dick Grayson, and Jason died when he was Robin

Looks cool. I can't say X was my favorite villain for two reasons:
1) It belongs to Slade.
2) I don't consider him a villain.
And do hope they add him to YJ-crew, though Red X was kind of older than Robin.

Really cool. I would love to see Red X appear again. He and Robin actually work well together, as well as getting under Robin's skin.

So there are a lot of guesses as to who Red X actually is. Based on his personality and other aspects, anyone else think he's Jason Todd?

I sure hope they do put Red X in Young Justice. He was cool in Teen Titans. I hope they do put Red X in YJ and hopefully he is more cooler with much better weapons and gadgets and much more deadly. Shame we only get to see him once in the Teen Titans episode (not counting Robin). You did an awsome job with this pic by the way.

Very nice. Glad it isn't just a MS Paint over of Robin lol. Love the new design, though I feel it lacks the gray... The red should only be on the 'X's and maybe the boots. But the cape and all else should have remained gray (But that is just my preference). As for origin, it would be a great way. Personally I don't see Red-x as a Red Hood stand in. He was way cooler to me (I never liked Jason Todd anyway). I like your idea of an origin better than what everyone else always spouts. "It's Jason Todd!" As if that origin is an original thought -.- but I digress. I was actually thinking about how they could integrate Red-X into the series and came up with this; what if Robin was the mole and when he turned and revealed himself, he became Red-X? Eventually it turns out he was a double agent and the whole conspiracy was planned by Batman to spy on the Light, but it would still be a cool way to integrate Red X into the story and also pay homage to the way Red X was introduced in Teen Titans.

i agree red x was a cool character in teen titans and i think they could go far if they made red x a villan or whatever in young justice. in fact it would be awsome. good idea

Chronologically yes. But those two are seperate shows in seperate continuities so it doesnt really matter. Also their on different Earths so it would render him wanting to be like Red-X sort of moot.

well wouldnt make too much sense if red x was jason todd, because the teen titans robin is Dick Grayson (the first robin) and Drakes still a teenager in this part (and if you mean that hes taking on the Red X persona as an equivalent to Red Hood, then Dick would already have become Night Wing)

Not necessarily Wally, Dick and Roy are all the same age in the comics. But in the show Roy's 18, Wally's 15 and Dick's 15. Since this is a different continuity it doesnt necessarily mean the other Robins have to be *younger* than him. If that was the case then Jason and Tim would still be in grade school. Since there's about a 5 year gap between all three of them.
