I put on my EF-100mm L and moved in for a good close-up of Blue, the Hyacinth Macaw.LOL! Blue, of course, was thrilled & immediately moved closer too. Luckily he behaved himself and refrained from jumping from the counter onto my camera gear.
I had to be careful though as there was little doubt he was wanting to do a pinch & puncture resistance test on the end of the lens.

Recently, I've been thinking about how some animals just seem to know that they should pose for the camera, and I must say, this picture convinced me of it It is an amazing shot, and you're title goes right along with it
I love how clear the bird is with the blur concentrated in the background
All in all, I favourited it the second I saw it
