Certainly made me think I wasn't as lazy drawing it as I actually had been.

*Looks at this*
*Remembers her half-finished colors on the Nightbird/Chanceless pic*
*Longs to finish*
*Angsts because her art computer is fifteen miles away and she has no car*

THIS IS AMAZING, BY THE WAY. Your phenomenal art married to colors is heaven to my eyes. It should happen more. MORE.

That reminds me. Chanceless should be in my club! I think I was going to put her in my club before I didn't want to go and put her in there if you didn't like the idea.
Isn't it always the way? Whenever you get the most art inspiration...you're nowhere near any art tools. Happens to me all the time. I'll get a flash of inspiration...and be nowhere near my sketchbook or computer.
If I wasn't so insecure about my colouring then I'd probably do it more.
Or I'd just try and figure out a way to trick someone into colouring everything for me. Like that Chanceless person. She's awesome.

Put her in your club. By all means!!
And now my computer is in the garage...but alas, I have no place to plug it in, turn it on, attach the monitor to it, and finish coloring the thing.
Well, the best way to get more confident in any ability is to do it often and consistently until you become an absolute beast at it.
Right? Right.
Or you could just trick someone into colouring everything for you. Yes, like that Chanceless person! I'll give her a call and let you know if she's available.

It's really amazing to see something I've drawn done in a painted style like this. I've never even thought my doodles would work in this style. It's made me re-evaluate all my beliefs about my drawings.

I know! I've not really been bothered about how to learn painting because I didn't think it would go with how I draw.
But seeing this has made me reconsider.

I just get other people to make me look good.

Hey. Peter. Spit that out. You're not supposed to eat your mask.
DAMMIT BOY WHAT DID I JUST SAY?!
That's it. No wet MJ dreams for a week. I'M SERIOUS!!
Also colors are fantastico, you should make this guy your official colorist.

Are you Peter's Spider Sense? I didn't know his Spider Sense spoke to him and gave orders and controlled his dreams!
Strange that a Spider Sense can do all that yet can't get him out of a Marvel comic.
I probably should. I might concoct a plan to trick him into becoming just that.

That certainly seems to be true. Which is strange because for a long time I believed the opposite to be true.
Sh-Shiny tummy? Peter...oils himself?
That vain son of a bitch!

This has just convinced me that you should truly already be a comic book artist. Before, I was kind of unsure, since your style is really unique, distinctive, non-mainstream... Not that I thought you weren't talented enough, but you weren't Rob Liefield enough. Seeing it so exquisitely colored, though, there's not a doubt in my mind.

You seem really convinced of that. Man not even I'm convinced I could actually draw an actual professional comic book. All those backgrounds and dynamic angles...I'm not really known for stuff like that.
But I guess colour is the key. In the hands of a good colourist I guess lines can become something much more.
I'm definitely not Rob Liefield enough.
Then again...Rob Liefield isn't G enough.

If someone as terrible as Rob Liefield who is literally incapable of drawing a foot can become a famous and in some circles even CELEBRATED artist... I BELIEVE IN YOU~

Rob Liefield is incapable of drawing a few things...but he still used to make millions of dollars on a single issue so there used to be a market for what he was doing apparently.
