what was the medium on this?
It looks like pen, but the lines get so fine and grainy I'm just not sure!
I mean, I am 97% positive it's pen,
due to the seemingly red light reflected off of the picture in several places, and that's a sign of ink...
If it is ink, you use ink so well it's CRAZY.
What weight was the paper, and did you use a traditional nib/quill/dip type pen, or was it a writing style pen?
This picture makes me wanna pick my pen up and do something pen-traditional!!! =O You're amazing.

it's pen. i like bic ballpoints. this drawing is on computer paper, which is probably why it's wrinkled. but for nice drawings, i reccomend using bristol.

i think this is one of the best takes on this character that ive seen on deviantart. you portrayed him accurately and beautifully without straight-up copying the origional style. this is what fan art is supposed to look like! good quote too

It's a pity this is unfinished... But I can still definately appreciate its beauty as it is.
Actually.. I think the unfinished look suits Howl. Sort of a visual way of saying he's still growing, mentally... emotionally. So on.
