Backstory:

A young and prototype Reploid, Axl was meant to be the next step in Reploids, a super adaptable being who could copy not only the various powers but also the appearances of his opponents. However under mysterious circumstances he was abandoned and eventually found by the Vigilante reploid known as Red, and added to the ranks of the syndicate Red Alert. However after helping them for some time, the group became corrupt as it was unknowingly used by the surviving Sigma, who corrupted them into Mavericks. Before they could get to him, Axl eventually went his own way.

Eventually this would bring him into the fold of the Maverick Hunters, whom he'd join in order to put his skills to good. After unfortunately needing to take down Red Alert, he's since become a reliable member of the hunters.

Ever since dealing with fellow Next Gen Reploid Lumine, Axl was imbedded with part of the reploid's data. This allowed him access to a mysterious white form, one which increases his performance and such. It's still unknown just what sort of downside this new power has on him, but as long as he can assist his allies or save the innocent, he'll use it.
