In another galaxy and place, a dying world unleashed a mechanical titan called Mata Nui to explore the universe for solutions. Of the races included their most vital component, the Matoran species, who could shift between their diminutive worker forms to the mighty protectors, the Toa, and finally their elderly Turaga. In their living world, the various beings contended with each other as the machinations of malicious entities, such as Makuta and the other beings, brought ruin and conflict.

Tahu is a member of the Toa Mata, a premier Toa team created as the pinnacle of their kind and set to fight the rogue Makuta. A Toa of fire, Tahu proved caustic if firm on his team. Through their journeys, the team would face impossible odds, forgotten monsters, and a great many obstacles, but found and clutched success despite their enemies.

Recently, Mata Nui has found itself sent into the Milky Way, set onto the path of the Sol System... and Earth....
