Elektra belongs to Marvel and Disney

Basis: Elektra in comics(Main Marvel/616, Ultimate comics at least in appearance, etc)

Elektra Natchios, a Greek assassin whom served under the group known as The Hand all her life and became their best killers. However during a small "break", Elektra met the blind college student Matt Murdock, Her formerly stone cold heart was softened by this encounter however while she did less to kill innocents, she still served her masters.

Her missions would make her return to New York City, serving as liaison for the Hand and agent for other forces, such as Wilson Fisk among others. This is how she would meet her former love, turned enemy, Daredevil. However as they continued to battle and occasionally work together, the villain Bullseye targeted his arch enemy Daredevil and killed Elektra in turn, bringing down the Man without Fear yet again.

However, fate, and The Hand, had other plans. Reviving her, they separated her into two beings; while one kept her identity and the newly awakened humanity of Elektra, and the dark half who kept her skills and more negative aspects and was called "Erynys". Surviving the attempt on her life, Elektra now has an uneasy alliance with Daredevil as they clean the streets and target The Hand and her other, darker half...
