Born in an alternate future destroyed by the Red Ribbon Army androids, Trunks came to the main universe to avert this fate, meeting his father, the great hero Goku, and others who were dead in his world. Eventually they would all overcome the android, and later Trunks would go to his future and destroy his androids.
However, even with this, the future remained dark due to demonic threats and even the intervention of the Black Plague, led by Goku Black and the banished Supreme Kai Zamasu.
Trunks has also been inducted as a "Multiversal Defender" to fight threats that attack other worlds and disrupt the balance.
Trunks and Dragon Ball belong to Toei and Toriyama
