Finally! The 1st page of Rox's mega character sheet is DONE Sorry I kept you guys waiting for so long, I know a lot of you were anxious to see this Well, for those of you who don't know, Melvin Kresnik aka Rox are characters from the old show "Street Sharks", which most of you should know I'm deeply in love with I'm very proud of myself for this character sheet. It's only my 2nd time working w/ shadows and lighting and I like my little setup I typed up a full history below, and yes I know it's pretty long. But what can I say? I LOVE the guy Anyway, hope you guys like it!

*~ History ~* When Rox was human, he was known as Melvin Kresnik, an underground up-and-coming rock star. His music wasn't that good (someone even told Melvin to cut his music off because it was "scaring the kids"). But Melvin was adamant about being known and dreamed to become a huge rock star someday. Somehow, he managed to land a gig at the Fission City rock concert but on his way to the rehearsals, he got into an accident because he was listening to his music too loud and wasn't really concentrating on the road. Not only did Melvin crash his car into a tree, but it also started to rain. So Melvin walked to a nearby motel and decided to stay the night. When he started to get hungry, he wandered around the motel to search for something and stumbled upon an open room. He saw a bag of popcorn just sitting there and since no one was in the room, he shook some salt on the popcorn and gobbled it down. While he was sleeping, Melvin underwent his transformation.

The next morning, Melvin thought he was dreaming when he saw himself as a shark/human mutant. Ultimately, he thought this new look was really cool and went with it. Little did he know that Dr. Bolton was also staying at the hotel and the popcorn was from his room. Earlier, Bolton had taken a sample of the tampered popcorn from Dr. Paradigm's hideout. Paradigm was planning on selling the popcorn at the concert so that he could turn the fans into mutants. Bolton was trying to come up with an antidote for the mutagen and put its incomplete form in the salt shaker.

When Melvin showed up at the stadium with his new "look", all the ladies were swooning over him, making Streex really jealous and a bit territorial. In addition, the mutated Melvin also announced that he will no longer go by the name "Melvin Kresnik" anymore, but by "Rox" instead. The Street Sharks were confused and very curious about this new guy! Soon after, Dr. Paradigm approached Rox with a proposition. He promised Rox fame and fortune if he would pretend to be friends with the Street Sharks and discover their secret hideout. After Paradigm gave Rox a homing device to place in the Street Sharks' headquarters, Rox agreed. Anything for fame and fortune, right? When Jab was getting his gills kicked by Paradigm's Sea-viates, Rox warned the others and helped them to rescue Jab.

As a token of trust, the Bolton Bros Street Sharks invited Rox into their secret hideout. Streex and Rox made up and became instant best friends; Streex even gave Rox his own electric guitar, which he didn't play that much since becoming attached to drums. Rox didn't want to aid Paradigm anymore so he ate the homing device. The Bolton Bros Street Sharks were all going to stop Paradigm, but Rox asked Streex if he would go back to concert and perform alongside him on stage. After Streex was given the okay by his brothers, he and Rox went back to the concert and performed a rock 'n' roll song together called "Shark Power", making the crowds go WILD!

After the concert was over, Streex offered Rox a chance to stay with them. However, Rox declined, saying that he's got to go his own way and follow his new rock star career. Since then, Rox became world famous and his songs were always at the top of the charts! He didn't know it, but Rox became the first shining example to mutants everywhere: that even though you're totally different, you can still achieve and accomplish anything.

Rox is wild, fun and a big goofball! He's got a pretty loud voice and "talks like a rock star", frequently using terms such as "rad", "tubular", "dude", etc. Rox shares the same crazy, fun and sexual personality as his best friend Streex. But because Rox has more of a musical background, a deeper, more emotional and poetic side is revealed from time to time. He could also be very stubborn and the only time that he's ever shown envy of any sort is when he sees D (his secret crush) flirting with Streex.
