What did you use for shadow effects?

Thanks!! In fact, I'm using oil-based paint. So to make some shadow effect, I dilute black paint with white spirit and I put it wherever there is shadow on the real vehicle. Of course, before to do this effect, I have to let the camo dry (if I don't, that become more than ugly)!
