Thank you very much! I must confess I have been very hesitant to apply any of my old even new pieces on this site for sheer rejection. But now I look at it as a very constructive site for feedback as well as archival purposes. That piece, as with the others in tempera and varnish coat were done with a lot of energy. What I mean to say, there was a genuine movement on the application of paint (in fact I find myself to move my entire body when I paint). The paintings were very quick composites, and the sand in particular, as is true with pretty every piece of work I make, was a result of an experiment and curiosity. But again, thank you.
