Salesman PUUUUUNCH!I imagine Tingle was being creepy to Link... y'know, like he always is... and the Salesman went all, pardon my TVTropes jargon, Papa Wolf on his ass. And he punched Tingle THROUGH his face, into his soul, and punched his soul in the face, too.
I see the Happy Mask Salesman as a sort of paternal figure to Link, all of the Links, actually. And being all adorkable and Addams Family-esque. He's like Nintendo's own Doctor.
