i like the composition and the cropping of both of these photos. I love the lighting, the top photo, the way it is cropped reminds me of this well known photographer whose name i cannot remember, but she used to shoot portraits and would purposely cut off the upper part of the subjects body. it reminds me of that.

A very interesting set of shots. I like the bottom one especially, it gives me that kind of 'rainy day alone with a slow cd playing in the background' feel, if you know what I mean. I don't really get the compositional point of cutting the top off the...top image, but it still works together nicely.
Very cool, a nice 'easy going' type pic.
