I think this Misteryo is one of the best characters on the Spider man comics, just think about him: a man with a great intelligence who really has on of the pettiest motivations in all history: Just to screw the hero that put him in jail.
The whole point is that this guy could be anything he could desire to be, but he choses to be a real ass! This is exactly why he always loses to Spiderman in the most humilliating ways.
To talk about the guy itself, I loved how you get this guy, I don't know anything about 3D works, but I think the level of detail (the green, squared uniform, and that glorious fishbowl in her head, are a great way to depict this fashion villain.

A Well-done on one of my favorite Spiderman villains. You captured the essence of his uniform. It is not an easy one to draw, it was recognizable in the thumbnails. The texture of the costume is well define giving it a well done 3D effect. The choice of green is excellent, it matches the colors in the comics. The position of the body is well done, you can almost hear all of his bravado monologue about his skills and against the powerless Spiderman. The lighting effects on his helmet is wonderful and gives it a real shape to it. The shadowing effects add to the 3D effects. This was an excellent done piece.

He is just like Doctor Doom, any idiotic thing he does he can blame it on a robot!

I would love to see Mysterio in a live-action Marvel film!

I would love too! This guy can make a robot, convince you that you're the antichrist, make you an idiot, all just for petty revenge or attention!
I mean, we have seen the Green Goblin and Venom too much in other movies!Β It's time to see other villains!
I would love to see Jim Carrey or Jack Black to do it, did you order a "Large Ham"?

He also dabbled in mind control. Β At least he did in an 80's Spider-Man cartoon. Β he used music to turn people into white-eyed mindless slaves.

I remember one great Misteryo pulled on spidey: He first shows him a little model of an amusement park, then he drugs spiderman.Β When Spiderman wakes up, he is in an amusement park and a giant Misteryo is trying to destroy him.Β It's minutes after some cat and mouse games when Spidey realizes Misteryo didn't shrink him, he only showed the model so he can believe Misteryo is a giant, and then he kicks Mysterio's ass, again.
I think that even more cool that Mind Control is being manipulated into doing the villain's will without knowing it.Β That shows that mysterio could bye a bastard, but a magnificent one

That was a good episode. Β The only thing I didn't like was that Mysterio wasn't wearing his costume in that story.

You're right, it's a costume so strange and over the top, it strangely works
However, I think Beck was better without his costume in that episode: I remember him casually dismissing Peter Parker while monologuing his dare to Spiderman.Β Seeing his face I could realize what a JERK Beck is, the kind of guy that is into villany only to cause misery to others and enjoy the ride.
