well actually there was a scene where Jafar tried it on her but she was able to resist it, however there are a couple scenes in the animated series of Aladdin where she was hypnotized.

I've seen the movie many times and I don't remember him even trying to use the staff on her. Β Was it in the cartoon series? Β In the series, though I didn't see evey episode, I remember one where she saw made to believe is was a thief or something like that.
