Thank you! I think there's quite a lot of things to be done with chimpanzees, art-wise.

Nice colours, good details and wonderful uniform. Let's sacrifice more Humans from now on. That would lower the population of course and rid us of some evil within us . Good Wishes, Salams...

The-Mirrorball-Man In reply to aneoms [2007-11-26 04:24:24 +0000 UTC]

Unfortunately, it would also rid us of the good!

And unfortunately I would have to go too. And none of us want that, or do we? . Good Wishes, Salams...

There's a huge gray area between the two categories, though.

aneoms In reply to The-Mirrorball-Man [2007-11-28 13:43:47 +0000 UTC]

I like being on the extreme sides; be altogether evil or good. Good Wishes, Salams...

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

The-Mirrorball-Man In reply to aneoms [2007-11-28 17:00:32 +0000 UTC]

Ah, but absolute evil and absolute good require absolute knowledge, and we don't have that, do we?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

aneoms In reply to The-Mirrorball-Man [2007-11-28 21:18:00 +0000 UTC]

I know about Absolute Zero, that's absolute knowledge to me . By the way, I'm still working on being the greatest evil ever. Still somewhere in the black and grey gradient. My heroes in this regard are George Bush, Osama Bin Laden and other people of such significance and honour . Good Wishes, Salams...

hahaha fer sher man...fer sher..I just read this article on how the UN is making a 'decade of contact' for the event that we make contact with ETs. apparently they are afraid that the US will start an ET war because of the space defense systems we are making thanks to the works of Nikola Tesla. I wouldn't put it past us to start a war between planets....what fools we've become lol...ah, shit...really isn't that funny....we're all dead..Maybe we can arm the chimps!

The-Mirrorball-Man In reply to Acro88 [2007-11-26 04:23:52 +0000 UTC]

It's a waste of time, in my opinion. I don't think we well ever make contact with any extraterrestrial intelligence.

fresvik [2007-11-24 16:03:22 +0000 UTC]

I like how theres a green shade in the chimp but I think I would prefer seeing its details (in the face) clearer, as in sharper. I see its sharper by the eyes but I would like it to be more all over the face except maybe the skin?? I dont know.. other than that I like the outfit and the colours surrounding the monkey. poor animal!! he looks sad and very humanlike.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

The-Mirrorball-Man In reply to fresvik [2007-11-25 10:33:48 +0000 UTC]

I totally agree with you but the level of detail you're talking about is beyond my technical ability as an artist. I simply wouldn't be able to do it.

These images of yours always make me fire up google and wikipedia^^.

Most amazing thing (for me) that I found: "France launched two monkey space flights in 1967" I really hadn't known that ([link] )

And here's that cosmonaut's american counterpart: [link]

And the truth is that I don't think the USSR actually used chimpanzees in its space program. Monkeys, yes, but not chimps.

Monkeys/chimps are gross...I think we should shoot more of them into space. lol. Just kidding. Or am I? Great job on painting this...I love all the little detail you put into his outfit. It's funny he looks like he's a ranking officer rather than a test subject. Cosmonaut. lol.
