Description
Karima Shapandar, the Omega Sentinel. An Indian police officer turned into a cybernetic mutant-killing machine, who then briefly joined the X-Men. [link]I've drawn this for an art jam on CBR. I didn't choose to draw this ultra-obscure character, it was assigned to me by very cruel people.
I redesigned her costume to make it look as much as possible as a classic Kirby-designed Sentinel. [link]

J'ai dessiné ceci pour un projet artistique collectif sur CBR. Je n'ai pas choisi moi-même de dessiner ce personnage ultra-obscur, des gens très cruels me l'ont attribuée.
J'ai redessiné son costume pour lui donner autant que possible l'apparence d'une des Sentinelles classiques de Jack Kirby. [link]

She is fairly obscure. I just know that she is half robot and those characters as a lot tend to be serious and repressed and no fun. o this was a cool fun drawing of her

Right on. Her right hand seems a little weird, I feel like she's missing a thumb, although I know it's around back. Maybe just me. Otherwise, another great piece. We should collaborate some time.

It's not just you, the thumb thing bothers me as well. Theoretically it works, but it doesn't look good. Unfortunately, I'm not one of those guys who can tweak and modify a drawing until it's perfect. After a while, I usually feel boredom setting in, and I just let the drawing escape. Those irritating mistakes are everywhere in my stuff.
And yes, we should collaborate. What do yo have in mind?

Inking/coloring collaboration might be fun, something along those lines.
I actually have a good story for a graphic novel that is unlike anything I've seen before that I intend to do some day, but that's a lot of work.

The hairdo makes me think of CosPlay^^, and I like those pink strips on her skin, which suggest a (rather interesting) continuation of the costume underneath the outer shell. Those boots are... well *not* made for walking I'd think... floating maybe? They look like they contain some sort of anti-grav.
(Btw, the *very* first thought that popped into my head, when I saw this was: "Lollypop")

"Any comment" is perfect for this, since it's such an odd combination of disparate elements. A superheroine, a Jack Kirby robot costume, Bollywood, schoolgirl fetish, cybernetics, etc... I'm not sure what I think of it, to be honest.

Well, think of those pink strips on her skin and then start drawing her without that kirby-esque shell^^. Or... you might think of flying to India and actually pitching this concept as an idea for a bollywood-musical.

I like the shine in her outfit, you got the top better than the bottom, that hairdo makes me think "hit me baby one more time"

Here's a little secret: the top is always better than the bottom in my drawings, because I gradually lose interest, and I don't want to spend more than 3 hours drawing that kind of character. I'm just trying to wow people by drawing a pretty face and pray that they won't notice the feet!

Interesting that you're not into Karima. I think she's a great character. This is an interesting take on her, considering how serious and stoic a personality she has. But very cool.
