Ah, Pyg... such a fucked up villain, yet he has a really appealing design. I don't know why, but pigs really lend themselves well to horror.

I think pigs remind us of ourselves, more precisely, of the wildest and less sophisticated aspects of human nature.

It's not really the pig element but the "pyg" element. Sort of based on a pun, his character is named after the literary character Pygmalion, a Greek sculptor who fell in love with his own statue which made the Gods turn her real. It lends itself to the tragedy of insanity and how the insane become fixated on that which we don't (or rather don't want to) fixate on

It's much more fun than drawing the Joker again.

I love the character. Most memorable Batman villain in a long while, as far as I'm concerned.

Une surprise est dΓ©jΓ par dΓ©finition inattendue. Et la peur advient lorsque la surprise veut nous Γ©corcher vif !

Great. Definitely looks like someone you would not want to mess up with. Love the blood effects, and his expression gave an impression that he just butchered something. Lovely work!

Unless one is a masochist, I think everybody will be confused whether to laugh or be scared

I can't write a critique, due to having only standard membership, but I think it's amazing. It just needs a smidge more body hair on the arms and chin.

Well sir, I can't critique (don't have a premium membership) but here i go: I really enjoy this picture. The lines are smooth and show some nice detail in the pants legs and shirt sleeves. The coloring is really nice, particularly the bloodstains on the apron. Best of all, it looks like equal attention was paid to every part of the drawing. The shoes and hands are as well defined as the mask, and i love the little bowtie! Hope this helps.

I don't mind him as a villians but he feels a little off when ever I see him, and not in a good way. I think it may be the name, if he was just called Pyg or Prof. Pyg I'd like him more, Professor Pyg sounds like a character from a kids show.

After reading the explanation behind his creation I like him more, though he still feels a little bland in his story.
And, are you saying Batman is for kids, for shame...for shame.

Yes, that's what I'm saying. Of course, that doesn't mean that grown-ups can't like Batman.

Considering the twisted creatures that ahve found there way into the comic in recent times, I disagree, I would say that he is for all in some capacity.

Sure, but the core concept of a man who dresses as a bat to fight crime is the kind of wish-fulfillment power fantasy that is typical of children's literature.

Common trends say otherwise, Children like their heroes young these days and usually without masks. And as a point, the average man would sooner be flying through the air or taking down a supervillian just as much as a child would.
Anyway, getting off topic, Batman is getting some digusting rogues, Jane Doe for one.

He's insane. Insanity is not ironic, it's tragic.
