I've never personally encountered the Hatman but apparently when my great-grandfather was the final years of his life, he would ask my great-grandmother what the man in black (I'm assuming it's the Hatman) wanted. Apparently he would show up outside the bedroom window (I just realized that I sleep in the same room now) and even my great-grandmother saw him too. I only heard about this story over a year ago... anyway, good work.

Thing is, I actually used that as a criminal name in a few story ideas.

The hatman is a psychological/surreal concept based on paranoia and mental illness. The presence, feeling, sensation and intuition of a shadowed or cloaked figure watching you with omnipresence. Whether to hurt you, watch over you, guide you or steal your soul. The true motives of "The Hatman" is unknown.

I actually think that I've SEEN the hatman before... In real life. At the park. 3 years ago. I've seen him several times since. I'm scared to leave my house now.
