Description
A battle scene between Blaize and Sephirisse. He goes in for the strike as she summons her sword from the void
Characters are mine! Done in watercolors and lined with copic inkie pens
[** since people have been trouble seeing it (and i don't blame anyone! I did it REALLY poorly), her left leg is bent on his chest, her knee on his shoulder and her foot coming back down to his ab area. Her other leg somehow got hidden behind his leg. Lololol]

While the poses are great it is hard to make out the female characters shin and foot since the color is very close to the male characters shirt/vest and left arm. Still it's a really good piece.

Gaahhhh where do I even begin with how badass this is?? I absolutely am floored by their poses, it's a really effective action-shot.
The colors themselves are brilliant, I love the background, and especially their faces. Her hair is really well-done as well. I could really learn a lot about watercolor just from this painting alone!
Did you use miskit to achieve her sword? It's really brilliant!
I've been using pens to outlone my watercolors as well, but yours looks so much more polished than mine - I wonder if it's my technique o__O

A really interesting action pose, and beautifully executed painting. I have to mention, however, I'm not sure I understand her pose, especially what her legs are doing (or where they are).

Lol yeah a lot of people have been having trouble seeing her legs. One of them is on his chest (well, her foot is on her chest; the leg is bent on his chest / shoulder), and the way i drew it out, her other leg kind of fell in perfectly behind his

Yes, what waltzinghippie said. I did notice it after I sent the message. It seems more like the color is confusing. Honestly, that makes the pose even awesomer! Maybe play around with different colors or thicker lines or something next time? it's quite a nice picture, though

Her left leg is pressed against his shoulder/chest - she's wearing a sort of black sock that exposes her heel and toes. I assume her other leg is hidden behind his forward-one. So she's leaping into him and pushing against him with her leg. It took me a second to see it, too, but I think the color of her sock is what confused me, since his armor is black, too
