Forever taking photos of my Zelda cosplay, this time we have a LOCAATTIIOONN!! <3 Taken by
The bodice is made of suede with hand embroidered details along the hem (which I guessed at from zooming on in the game renderings). I'm not sure what fabric the dress is made from (bought it from a highly unorganized store from the LA textile district), with fully embroidered patterns (same with the gloves), and hand-made trim. The banner / tabard is linen, dupioni silk, and suede embroidered together. The belt and crown are worbla, the armor is made of polyethylene foam, and the sword is made of oak!

It really does look like the perfect place for shoots! If I ever finish some of my planed cosplays I would love to take photos at a place like that. Sadly though.... Closest we got in this area is a viking burial site, and it's not like there are much to see there that would be seen in a photo XD
But yeah! I would love to see more photos like this!

If you're ever needing some locations and are willing to come to the north of England, I can totally show you around! I'm in the Lake District, and we have ruins (like this place), deep old forests, and gorgeous rivers and lakes! It really is the best place to shoot I've ever been to!

Well, I do plan to one day go to the north of England (to visit a friend of mine). Sooo... Could be nice to go and travel around a bit. I do love ruins for sure and if I can take photos and stuff too? Then you can count me in for sure! 8D Would be so amazing!

The best I can think of would be some crumbling barns >.<; But I should probably do some research and see if there's any stoney-crumbly things around. I know there's a little town near me that's still got a lot of the original brick paving from when the town was first founded... but I don't think anything there qualifies as "ruins." Thanks for sharing your photo-shoot location

Since the U.S. is young compared to a lot of other countries, I never really considered it as a candidate for having "ruins" that would fit with the Legend of Zelda motif. But after replying to you I did a brief search on the internet before going to bed. It looks like there might be a few things near me if I'm willing to drive for a few hours. I live near Chicago, so more central U.S. As you said it looks like there's a lot of neat stuff on the east coast, but unless I were going over there for some other reason, ... that's not going to happen... I wouldn't make the trek out there for only a photo-shoot.
