When comparing this shot to the Beach Rock shot (Which is really awesome in its own way) I tend to like this one more. The thing that makes this image such an eye catcher in my opinion is the way the different textures melt into one another. The sky smoothly becomes the water and the water changes its colour and by becoming almost transparent allows the change into the sandy shore. Overall this shot looks very airy, The fact that you can see so little of the sea is very good in this shot because it doesn't look so standard (rule of the thirds) and really allows your eye travel upwards and downwards though it is consisted mainly only of horizontal lines.
