I finally drew an Edgelord Mcnotsogoop, based on Stealthnerd's design !!!ΒY'know I've always wondered why people draw Underfell Gaster as still being around and not trapped in the void, and I came with my own headcanon. The reason why he's still around isn't because he didn't try to manipulate time/space--he's still very much a rather mad scientist--but because he used (unwilling) test subjects to take his place in his experiments instead. The followers became the victims :C
But Gaster doesn't care, and they're easily forgotten from his conscious. The man's not guilty in the slightest, it seems.

I'm also psyched to see the followers because they just don't get enough love in general, and when it comes to most depictions of UF that I've seen, it's like people have forgotten they exist at all (uh, so to speak, heheh). Your headcanon is the perfect way to make them relevant in that timeline and I love the idea that fellGaster escaped being shattered just by sheer force of dickery. IT'S PERFECT <3
