Throughout my entire series of drawings surrounding my recast AU for "The Hunger Games", I haven't drawn Tyler as Gale a whole lot, save for my first drawing that introduced the AU of course. So, I decided to draw Mei sharing a loaf of bakery bread that Tyler had gotten by trading a squirrel he had caught. Tyler splits the bread in two and hands it to Mei while teasingly wishing her a "happy Hunger Games" and Mei jokingly replies back with "and may the odds be ever in your favor" before digging in and chatting away before they have to attend the reaping ceremony to choose the tributes that will represent District 12 in the games
