This drawing was more or less an experiment with merging backgrounds of two separate locations with characters. But dang, did it turn out better than I hoped it would!

After E.T.'s people came and took him back, he and Hiccup already began missing each other. Their psychic bond got more and more faint the farther away the ship got from the Earth. When Hiccup got home, he asked Stoick to help him move his bed closer to the window so he could see the moon, as it made him think of E.T. and provided a little bit of comfort to the boy. E.T. never left the window of his ship the moment it took off away from Berk and eventually Earth, keeping his eyes locked on the planet he was left behind on and was befriended by the kindest, and most friendliest, scrawniest fish-bone of a boy the island housed. But there was always a small feeling that rested inside the backs of their hearts, hoping they would meet again someday
