Meet Her Civilian Counterpart:

Bio:
When Sam was 8, her 4th grade class took a field trip to Fanny McFizzles Soda Factory for a guided tour when she and some other kids snuck off to try and sneak a taste straight off the production line. Unbeknownst to Sam, she had taken a sip from a soda contaminated by a secret formula, and gained hyperelastic powers in the process. Also unknown to Sam, because the formula was meant to be injected through the heart for a rapid, more even distribution, Sam instead got the majority of the power concentrated in her digestive tract. Thus has caused her to become more of a balloon with stretchy limbs rather than a fully realized elastic heroine. Nevertheless, she still uses her powers as a means to combat the forces of evil as opposed to just becoming a victim of humiliation because of her power's unusual specificity. She can ingest virtually anything and receive no repercussions from doing so, other than the high amount of raised brows and staring eyes that fixed on her. Fortunately, now as the Zephyr Zeppelin, her teammates don't seem to mind too much that she takes pleasure from enjoying her powers & enjoy fighting crime alongside her (probably because they're either used to it or are dealing with their own weirdness).
