Mary Joel, a scientist with a green thumb, was working to develop a special soil that could hold more nutrients than any past soil. It would've been, as she claimed, "a revolutionary invention that can allow farms to last 4X longer than normal, and not to mention completely organic".One night, however, she was "accidentally" spliced with her organic soil, causing her to become a pile of mud... at first. But then, shortly afterwards, she began to collect herself until she formed a shape that could sustain herself, except she appeared as walking mud.
