And here he is with a face. Yes, it is somewhat pixelated, but that's from the very first sprite I made of him and I had to enlarge it. I did try to soften and correct it, but yeh...Anyways ya'll enjoy your favourite red engine!

Love the overall side profile, colourΒ and shading, and howΒ you have brought the detail out.
(This is only me here and probably because I've been lookingΒ at and how to do stuff properly face wise, its the face that bugs me for some reason I don't what it is)

Some rather nice work, the only thing I can see wrong is that you seem to have made him as a Class 27, rather than a Class 28 - the boiler being at a lower pitch and the firebox being roundtop rather than belpaire on the former.

I worked with what I had concerning blueprints. They said "Hughes Class 28" in handwriting on the bottom and were a scan of not too good quality.

That's fair - I can dig out some plans of a Class 28 if you wish? I'd also recommend looking at reference pictures as well as using the plans.
