As promised here is a tutorial on photomanipulation. Let me know what you think or if anything doesn't make sense. I'd love to hear feedback.Credit:

I felt the same way when I first started manipulating and I didn't know to look up tutorials for help so it was all just trial and error. How do you make your person smaller on your background?

If you have a pc use ctrl+T (macs use: apple key + T)
Then up at the top of the page you'll see boxes for the percent width and height with a chain link in between. If you set one to, say 50%, and press the chain button it will automatically set the other to the same so that your image doesn't get distorted.
You can also size it down manually by dragging the box. Distortion can be a problem however unless you use the boxes at the top of the screen.
