Description
Given as a gift for a friend. I've never actually drawn a map until doing this. It was slow, and it was painful. But I like the way it came out. My wife slaved all afternoon cutting the adhesive tabs small enough to lift each of those individual trees one level off the paper, and the lettering was (for me) the most painful thing I've ever done...We decided to do this since our friend is fond of maps, LOVES Game of Thrones, and this made a subtle and classy way to show off both of those things.
I love the way it turned out and it's hanging proudly on our friend's wall.

This was one very very labor intensive. The first to actually take more than one day to build.

it took a full 12 hours to sketch and vector, then about another 12 hours to construct.

Thats perfect! Game of Thrones is one of my favourite book series and an incredible show. Well done and to Amber too for her infinite patience cutting the sticky tabs. Hope you are proud cos that is some fine fine work. You have a lucky friend

Thank you so much! I quite love Game of Thrones myself, (though I haven't seen any of season 3 so far) Amber's been a tremendous help doing these (she probably builds more than i do at this point)
