These are more NPCs that live in the Frosty Flats Apartment Complex with Pettali and her family.

This is Laycee Dayzee and Mr. Prooper S. and his young daughter. Laycee is a tomboyish Crazee Dayzee who lives in Apartment #5 with her neighbor and friend Mr. Prooper S. who lives in Apartment #4. They are first seen near the beginning of the Chapter. They are in a cave that your partner forces Mario to check out. Laycee attacks thinking Mario is a threat. After her defeat she tells them that Mr. Prooper and her were heading to Xrystal Village, a town located in the middle of the Mountain trail.
Before they could descend from their apartment home, a small avalanche caught them and brought them down the mountain, and they were hiding in the cave until the oncoming blizzard died down, protecting Mr. Prooper's baby. However, after the explanation the baby woke up and cried loudly causing a mound of snow to start falling over the cave. They escaped before the cave was swallowed in snow and decided that they no longer needed the shelter, and head home.
