Nov 12: 10 am. I encountered this beast mere days after I had captured his companion, Virizion. There was a look in his eyes I had never seen before in any pokemon ... a very intense stare, full of disgust. It took all of my effort just to tear my eyes away from it. I immediately regretted this, what if he decided to run? Or worse, what if he attacked me? In any case, I couldn't sit there all day. I stole a glance after summoning up my courage. The Cobalion had not moved and I cowered away as soon as I caught sight of its steely frame. However, something caught my eye. I peered through a gap between my fingers to see its feet. "How strange," I thought. Every sketch of this legendary pokemon depicted it with rounded hooves, not toe-like digits. Is it possible that those ancient drawings are wrong, or had no human been close enough to see its feet clearly? ... continued

That's my reasoning for toes. I think he looks better this way anyways! Cobalion is my favorite :)
