Professor Prodigious, capable of turning his body into an expand or contracting form of organic water; Lady Zephyr, a woman made of little more than air and capable of vanishing into it, or solidifying it at will; The Living Pyre, the human flam; and Man-Mound, a walking pile of earth, were set to be the first family of heroes in Cedar City. Their origins, though, were not quite what they seemed.
