If you're wondering what that thing is that Layton is holding, allow me to explain.

See, I have this YouTube channel (whihc I'm sure some of you know by now) where I select VGM and put them in a "Golden VGM List" which is basically my list of my favourite VGM. Plenty of other YouTubers have done this sorta thing already, so i threw in my two cents with this list.

Anyway, when I reach a hundred number, I tend to celebrate the occasion by drawing a picture for the game whose music made it into that particular number. And in this case, I put Professor Layton and the Unwound Future at #300.

So the thing Layton is holding is actually a trophy I made to represent the game's victory in being one of my personal favourites.

I love the shading I did here. It is a mix of cel shading and gradient shading. I think I'll use this technique from now on within my drawings.
