Description So "engine x" as they called the BNSF loco (10R) on the scanner came off the train in the background (also 10R), it proceeded east past the switch on track two and and then back west onto yard trackage headed for the engine house, the light engine NS in the background (M8A) moved up to take the place of the BNSF unit and backed up to the train in the background becoming M8A instead of 10R.

Based on what little info is in the description, its possible the crew noticed a mechanical discrepancy that needed correcting and the unit was removed for that reason. Though, I suppose it could have been other, less apparent reasons as well.

well after words we heard them talk about going to the hump which is where the different cars get sorted but then we also heard that there was a 1 engine power move going down the "early bird" track near the engine house which further adds to the confusion.
