I finally finally drew Choo Choo Charles! Before you say something like:"The train looks great. But you're missing his spider legs!" Right there. I tried! Not only a steam train was already hard to do, the steam locomotive by itself was a challenge to do. It was a killer! Let alone a Locomotive character!

I looked at references to help me start the body of the train. And repositioned it more than 5 times when I first tried it! Now to the spider legs. While looking at the character, I couldn't see where the spider legs were coming from!

I started to study the spider's anatomy, to a train's anatomy. It wasn't a full-on study. It was a closer examination. So, I did that. I was frustrated with the positioning with the trains neck to the tram. Because the angle of it looked so off onto the tram, even though I was pleased with how I positioned the train. The bad news was, I had already colored in the base of the train while I was thinking about his spider legs.

I wanted to see how the picture was turning out with the color. And by then, I had a lot of layers on. And it would have taken me longer to erase out the layers to attempt to put in the legs. I have actually tried! But, drawing spider legs alone, I don't have enough practice for them. Found it too complicated. I decided to leave it.

So, I had this how I pictured it in my head, to how I roughly wanted it! Minus the spider legs! And in the end result, this is how it turned out! Took me about 4 day's. Perhaps. To draw this train exactly how I wanted it! Well, as close to as I can! I'm still happy with the results!
