There is something satisfying about finishing a series like this. Being able to get all of the story points you wanted to include certainly helps, but it can also feel like a fresh start for something new. Depending on how people feel about the series, there might be a one-shot down the line. Otherwise, letting this series rest seems like a fine idea too.
