Description
Lore bit: the shuttle family has a kind of symbiosis with their machine counterparts, where differences in their human appearances correspond with those on their namesakes (for example, Discovery’s birthmark). Columbia’s orbiter self lost 9,000 TPS tiles both before and during her delivery to the KSC, which appeared on her face as a terrible case of acne. All were replaced shortly after and her acne disappeared, but it didn’t do any favors for her self-consciousness.

As for the drawing itself, I started it Thursday after and finished it this morning. I gave her a headband for a break in the status quo (and that I thought it’d be cute).
