Summer time at the pool!

It's my 639th color commission and as of posting this is it very hot where I'm at. Seems like it's happening everywhere else as well (except for the southern hemisphere) so lets at least take in the summer at the pool as we got a swimsuit picture, first time we have gotten this in a while with Michiru Kaiou or Sailor Neptune and Usagi Tsukino or Sailor Moon from...well, Sailor Moon just relaxing at the pool. So it's been a while since I was able to color a Sailor Moon pictures as it's basically the grand Magical Girl series that revolutionized the genre. And Ironically enough it doesn't seem I get many chances to color pictures on this but rather other magical girls more than this...I find that odd funny enough

Anyways I haven't seen all of Sailor Moon so I can't talk too much about it outside of the fact that the reboot series, Sailor Moon Crystals is finally over having the second Part of the Sailor Moon Cosmo movie being released...almost a week late. I was planning on releasing this just as the second part came out but some stuff kind of popped up at the last minute which shifted some of my posting schedule a little bit hence why this is late. Not that we could properly celebrate it unless you live in Japan as the Movie is Japanese exclusive and would remain there until if I had to guess Netflix would release it. But hey at least Sailor Moon Crystals is done and...yeah I'm not a fan of the first two seasons of it. I'm sure they learned their lesson of what not to do in terms of animation and Season 3 and the two movies (which is technically 4 as each movie is two parts) are better but man those first two seasons really do take you out of it. Welp hopefully the reboot in 2034 would be hopefully better

Honestly outside of mentioning that I've used the colors based on the newer seasons of Crystal for Usagi and Michiru to color them as close to the newer style as possible as coloring these two in their 90's style would be impossible, nothing too much to talk about coloring as it's a very straight forward picture. Just two characters on the show on the pool with Michiru setting on the edge of the pool and Usagi riding a Unicorn floaty, that's kind of cute ^^. Although I do have to apologize to all of the Sailor Moon super fans out there as I didn't realize this until now a couple days until posting which this picture has been on storage for several months but I didn't know that Michiru's swimsuit was based on an episode from the 90's show and it had way different colors than I had here as I just used some colors that fit Michiru's appearance...whoops. Kind of the theme with me with these old animes that I color a swimsuit based on what would fit but didn't know that the swimsuit appeared in the show which I could of used for the picture so I'm not sure why that's keeps on happening with me
