There's a cool thing called Ponyscape that supposedly helps with Inkscape MLP... I can't figure out Inkscape though. XD

Yeah, I've been using Ponyscape recently. It's basically a modification of Inkscape with some added tools and tweaks to make common pony-style work a bit easier. Unfortunately it's a bit buggy, slow and unstable, so the developer's left it and gone to rebuild the thing from scratch.

That sucks. Meanwhile, I'm having trouble just cropping something in Inkscape... good thing I didn't try and get Ponyscape yet. ^_^"

The easiest way to crop something in Inkscape is to use a clipping area. Draw a box (or whatever shape you want) over the area you want visible, select the object you want to crop (group them with ctrl+g if more than one), then ctrl select the clipping object you just made, and hit "Set Clip" under the 'Object->Clip' menu dropdown.

The eyes are ever so slightly derped; my attempts at getting them more "unequal" looked off to me, as with her squinting it looked like she was focussing on her eyelids -_-
