I literally just started learning Esperanto today and MAN. It makes so much more sense than any languages I've done before, except maybe ASL. Sadly I don't think I can handle learning three spoken languages at once, so I might juggle Dutch and Spanish for a while before delving into this, even though I think it's really cool!

I still know some.Β I'm starting to learn it again because I have a friend who's also learning it, but I'm still mainly working on German and my own constructed languages.

How did you learned it before? and How long it did took?
I created a couple konglangs as well (around 4)
Most peoples' flavourite language is hispana then franche, mine would be inglish then gemane

Duolingo and a couple other websites (I don't remember).Β I stopped because I had to focus on school.Β It was fun though.

Yeah I'm focusing on learning German and Norwegian right now.Β Duolingo is only really useful when you're just starting a new Language.

To be honest I just like how German sounds.Β It's really fun to speak and write.

That's 100% what I said 
99% of people choose french because they like it (mainstream)
1% choose spanish because it's the second most spaken longuage (china doesn't count obviously, it's one country that was literally milled entirely for the purpose of cold war garrison)
Spanish is f**k ugly and the lingua franca of ghetto/third-world
French is insanely mainstream (and stereotypical as an american girl's language, they only want to learn it to impress guys)
Japanese is insanely mainstream (and stereotypical as a white american girl's language, they only want to learn it to watch anime and impress their friends)
So that just leaves german and russian (and russian is a worthless terrorist commie language)
