Description
Strider Hiryu from the Capcom video game series of Strider Games. This is 11 x 17 pencils and ink by me. I did this for a friend for a gift. I was experimenting with a few different techniques on this and learned a bit. Dry brushing the ski didn't work the way I wanted.Related content

Wow, you even put scratch marks in the grooves of the cargo container!
In the 1st stage of the NES vesrion of this game, there is periodic thunder and lightning in the background. Your heavy light-and-shadow contrast due to the intense light source from the picture's right side instantly brought back the memory of that 1st stage.
I really like the mood this drawing evokes. It easily brings the viewer into the setting and the feel.
