Description
So the body of the car is done and I needed to make wheels...I opted to sculpt the tyre in Aves around a thin plastic rim I sliced out of a plastic shot glass and cast the rest in Jesmonite to get them all the same. For the spokes I set up a jig and wrapped in a spoke-like pattern around a central nail with some fishing line and tagged it in place with super glue. I then sprayed it silver, painted the tyres black and assembled! I'm happy enough with the results, I'm just experimenting after all!
