Description Right, things are getting pretty darn close to completion now...All (completed) parts are ready for painting, and as you can see from the spoons in the picture I have been experimenting with the airbrush to get the right colours.  I've gone for more of a coppery colour for the traditionally more 'orange' parts, to contrast with the pale gold.

Sorry if you've answered that somewhere already, but did you sculpt her out of Apoxie Sculpt? This is incredibly well done and looks very professional!

Thanks so much for the kind words! Yes you're absolutely correct, Aves Apoxie Sculpt (with polymer clay core). It's my first try with this stuff and I can already see why it's so popular... if you're interested you can see lots of stages of the sculpt in my Samus development folder.

This makes me appreciate your work even more because i think apoxie sculpt is really hard to work with! I checked out your other pictures and i'll make sure to watch your future projects too

Oh thank you that really means a lot! Unfortunately I've become allergic to Apoxie Sculpt (apparently that's a thing) so I'm thinking for my next project i might switch back to polymer clay...

Oh damn, now that's... very strange. I've never even heard of this allergy. Maybe try out "green stuff" as it seems to be very similar just a tad softer.

Yeah it bites. After looking into it there do seem to be write a few people who get this with epoxy putties (a few users of milliput have reported it)

Very odd! Lets hope you won't react to any other similar things aswell.. because i assume sculpting while wearing rubber gloves is almost impossible.

You're right, I've had to wear gloves for the entire sculpt... it makes it really hard, not how i want to work!
