I kinda cheated by drawing the elf and Santa in the same picture, but I thought they'd work well together, so woohoo!
The main trouble I had with this was keeping the texture of the coloured pencil even throughout the whole drawing while layering. For any of you who use this medium often, you'll understand when I say that you have to do a LOT of layering to make the picture look nice.
I ended up using the red and purple pencils a whole bunch throughout this drawing, as you can probably tell . And for the list I figured out how to scribble so that it looks kind of like writing.

Time taken: Approximately 7 hours
Materials used: Prismacolor coloured pencils, watercolour paper (5-6 inches wide)
