wow mashaAllah amazing i love the splashes n great choice of title.. i have a question - which might sound stupid - isnt a light bulb usually too light to sink in water this much?

lool no it's not stupid, in fact it is a really good question and good notice ..
it should float but due to the drop and gravity pull, the bulb was able to sink slightly and momentarily
btw, wasn't your nickname The Three Musketeers?

Nicely done, next time it'd be cool if the light bulb is hot from being turned on for a while and when it hits the water it shatters
(That'd be hard to arrange of course since you can't really pick it up when it's hot... maybe use an oven mitt?)

it's a bit more than 'lacing' the bulb

I was always fascinated by pictures with stuff splashing into water. What makes this different is probably the "theme" created by the transparent light bulb (I love light bulbs btw) and by theme I mean the presence of two colours .. black, white and the ones in between. Very beautiful.
Mm .. from my perspective, I would've enjoyed looking at this more if there was more contrast and saturation. Like the background was pure white instead of grey-like.
All on all, it's very nice
