Hello again. With 2015 almost coming to a close, I thought I might put together a simple reference of Ellie for 2016.

Body Composition

The first is a layer of artificial muscle fiber (a.k.a muscle wiring), it's designed to be strong enough to protect her internal organs and augmentations, but flexible enough to allow easy movement. Most of this layer is covered by the other two, but it would be exposed in areas where the most flexibility would be needed (abdomen, joints, other extremities).

The second layer is "functional" armor. This armor basically serves as a primary layer of protection for the muscle layer and also serves as an on-body casing for her weapons and other external augmentations. This is layered anywhere under the top layer (as it would serve as a mounting surface for the armor) and on her arms and legs where some of the functional augmentations would be located.

The third layer is simply protective armor. It is hard, durable, rigid plating designed to protect the most important parts of her body. It's placed around her chest, shoulders, and some parts of her arms and legs where flexibility isn't required.
